Peace and Economic Justice Task Force

 

We are the nucleus for congregational peace activism to educate, mobilize and communications on issues of war and peace. We will also focus on economic justice – currently the Congregational Study Action Issue of the UUA.

Activities:

• Lead effort to become Peace Advocate Congregation in the UU Peacemaker’s program
• continue to address the dangers of a sweeping war on terror and need to support diplomacy with Iran
• Work for living wage, worker rights and income equality
